Taking your photo
- Take it vertically, not horizontally
- Try not to use the least zoom possible, just get closer
- Do not cut the feet or arms off.
- Light backgrounds are better
- The auto setting is usually fine for taking photos for cutouts.
- Sharp, focused, and clear images work the best.
Getting your photo to Us
You can upload your photo or artwork at the end of the order process.
We accept your digital photos or scanned files up to 2 GB
You must create an account to upload your photo.
We accept the following file types:
JPEG, TIFF, EPS, PDF, RAW formats.
Photoshop or any photo editor
Illustrator or any graphics editor
Indesign or any layout editor
Photo Resolution Requirements and Camera Specifications
It all starts with the photo, if the person in the original photo is blurry, they will be just as blurry when enlarged.
Digital Camera Guidelines
Digital Cameras must have a resolution of at least 5 megapixels or higher.
Most Smart Phones have a camera good enough to make a cutout from. The photo must be clear and crisp.
Camera resolution MUST be set to high or fine. Some cameras just list numbers - choose the largest one. This will give you less pictures, but higher quality photos.
When sending a digital photo, the file size should be at least 500 kb or larger.

Hard Copy Photo Guidelines
- We accept any professionally developed photo (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart ect.).
- This includes but is not limited to 35mm, 110, Polaroids, and slides.
- You don't have to scan your photos, just send us the originals.
- Please avoid sending photo prints from home printer dock, photo printers, or photo copies.
- If your not sure about how to scan you photo, print out this page and take it to your local Kinkos, Staples, or Office Max and they will scan it for you for a small fee.
- If you do scan them, you do not have to enlarge it, just set the scan depth to a higher dpi. 1200 dpi (dots per inch) or ppi (pixels per inch) or higher will product the best print, but 600 dpi also produces a good quality cutout.
- Please avoid sending photo prints from home printer dock, photo printers, or photo copies. These do not enlarge well, and will produce fuzzy or undesired results
We rate photo quality on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 is a total stinker that is so blurry even Grandma wont recognize it, 10 is what you would expect from a professional photographer.
We notify all customers if their photos are below a 6 out of 10. if you wish to product the cutout from a lower quality shot, we will need this in writing.

How long does it take to get a Custom Made Standee?
Generally production for your Custom Made Standee is about 7-10 business days, but can vary. If you need to rush order your Custom Made Standee, please give us call and we can produce it within 24 hrs*.
How is a Cardboard Cutout shipped?
Cardboard Cutouts are delivered folded in one flat package, unless multiple items are ordered. They are packaged and shipped in a cardboard containers . All items ship at a flat rate of $15.00 all across the continental United States.
Do you ship overseas?
At this time we do not ship overseas or out of the continental United States of America.
